Coconut Oil Packages

Coconut oil is highly versatile and used in various ways by different consumers. To cater to these diverse needs, Cocoguru offers a wide variety of products and packaging options. Each product is a thoughtful combination of oil type, packaging material, and pack size.

Oil Varieties

  • Roasted Coconut Oil: Copra pieces are roasted before oil extraction. This enhances the taste and aroma of the oil and increases its shelf life.
  • Cold Pressed Coconut Oil: Copra pieces are not roasted before extraction, retaining the natural taste and flavor. This method aligns with traditional coconut oil preparation.
  • Virgin Coconut Oil: Fresh coconut is used to make Virgin coconut oil. It has a crystal clear appearance and a long shelf life. It is considered the best form of coconut oil.

Packaging Material

  • Pouch: Coconut oil is packed in flexible film with high barrier properties using automatic sealing machines. This ensures leak-proof packaging and longer shelf life. As the most economical option with minimal material usage, pouches are ideal for consumers using coconut oil for cooking.
  • Jerry Can: Opaque white jerry cans are equipped with a sturdy handle for easy carrying of heavier quantities. Popular among families for kitchen use, these strong, reusable containers can last for years.
  • HDPE Bottles: These are blue, opaque bottles fitted with flip-top caps for convenient dispensing in small quantities. This type is especially preferred by hair oil users. Though more expensive due to higher packaging weight, they are durable and easy to handle.
  • PET Bottles: Transparent PET bottles allow visibility of the oil inside. A tamper-proof wad seals the neck, keeping the oil fresh, leak-proof, and air-free until opened. A flip-top cap allows easy pouring. While costlier than pouches, PET bottles offer greater consumer convenience.
  • Bulk Containers (Cans and Barrels): For industrial use, repacking, or commercial cooking, bulk packaging is offered in 30 kg cans and 200 kg barrels.

Pack Sizes

Larger pack sizes reduce the per-unit packaging cost, making them economical for regular or bulk users. Smaller packs are ideal for less frequent or trial usage, offering freshness and convenience.

  • High Volume: 5 kg, 2 Litre
  • Medium: 1 Litre, 500 ml, 250 ml
