About Cocoguru

Cocoguru Coconut Industries Private Limited, established in 2010 as a fork of Sri Rama Industries (founded in 1988), is promoted by the Bonanthaya family and manufactures pure coconut oil. A team of about 35 professionals produces Roasted, Cold Pressed, and Virgin varieties.

We package our oils in pouches, bottles, and cans for convenient use as both edible oil and hair oil by consumers in Tulunadu (coastal Karnataka). Production takes place at our modern facility in Puttur. Our products are widely distributed across coastal Karnataka and available in select stores in Kodagu, as well as in selected stores in Bengaluru. Nationally, they are sold through leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon, JioMart, and Flipkart.

In 2023, we launched a vegetarian restaurant in Puttur to promote coconut oil-based cooking. Although it has since closed, it paved the way for our expansion into the manufacture of coconut oil-fried snacks and traditional sweets, made with a focus on freshness, hygiene, and local flavor.

Its costly for sure. Clean through you might find coconut pieces but that’s fine, at least not refined through many different machines. Oil smella great. Not sure it enhance the taste of our regular dishes. Healthy for us, what maore do you want.

Food was very good. Early morning around 8 we went and there was not much crowd. You get regional specials like genasale, semige, etc. Side dishes come in small quantity but they provide more with no extra charges if you ask.
